Okay, in case no one knows, a margarita has around 500 calories a pop. They are BAAAD, but so GOOOOD!!! :)

If you are dieting, but want to drink, order vokda & soda water with two limes. If you want it a litle sweeter, do a splash of 7-up or sprite in it. It is only 110 calories pers drink and you will have a good buzz after a couple.

Another good idea is Absolut Mandarian & Soda water. OMG...tastes like an orange soda, but with a kick :)

WEIRD - I just started this on Friday night. Absolute Peach (or Mandarin) + Soda Water + Splash of O.J. It's my new drink out :) Absolute flavored vodkas are the only ones I've come across that still have 40% alcohol instead of 35%. They have so many yummy flavors too!

And yes, BEWARE of those 500+ calorie margaritas! I allow myself to drink them every now and then but have definitely come a long way from 1-2 a week!

MOOOOOOOO!!!

I just finished reading through this whole thread, you ladies are so funny!!

I wish I had big boobs like some of you ladies, the worst part is that mine are small and when I lose weight it usually comes from my boobs first! Why can't it come off my Ass!

I eat for so many different reasons. I'm definetly an emotional eater, if I'm upset I'll eat anything I can find! But I've also noticed that the different weeks of the month I am very different. For example, I have one week a month that I can stick to my diet perfect and will not give in to anything. I have another week in my month where no matter what I eat, my body never feels full. I also usually have a week where I don't feel very hungry at all. I feel like a hormonal mess!!

My other problem is when I drink. I don't drink very much anymore specifically for this reason, but I wake up the next day STARVING!! And cereal, fruit, veggies, etc... is not going to calm the feeling I have for greasy pizza, chocolate, ice cream, and any other totally disgusting thing that I shouldn't be eating! This is why I don't drink anymore.

But I did last night and today I feel like such a fat cow!! Can I get a Moo Moohuh.gif!!!

My weakness is sugar. I've been doing better since I gave up coffee because I used to have to have a little cookie, piece or bananna bread or something of that nature with my coffee. Now that I cut it out, I have been doing somewhat better.

I have been so tempted lately, but I haven't given in!

Tomorrow is a new day...we can do it!

Can I get a moooo mooooo??
MOOOOOO for getting your tennis shoes ( but wouldnt you want sneakers for running lol)

I feel your pain. My ass and my boobs NEVER shrink! I lose weight in my hands, feet, and face! The face is ok, but right now, my e-ring is too big! How do you lose 12 pounds and have nothing to show for it but loose rings and shoes! My boobs will always be the same size. When I was super skinny I was a 34DD and at my heaviest I was a 38DD!

I do really well throughout the week but not so great on the weekends. I also eat late at night. I'm not eating anything after 8pm and if I am hungry I drink water.

The hardest part has to be that I know better! I'm a chef so I know what I need to eat and how to prepare healthy foods! But 1) its hard when I have to taste things all day because the calories add up but I also don't want to send out a product I'm not sure of. 2) If I cook all day the last thing I want to do when I get home is cook some more! It's not even the cooking that bothers me as much as it is the clean up!

But I'm 118 days away from my wedding so now is the time to step it into high gear! I gave up sweets for Lent so that was a start.

OMG! I would be SO happy to lose weight in my feet! It sounds crazy I know but I wear a size 10 and my big fear is when I eventually have kids my feet will grow and I won't be able to buy shoes in a store anymore!

Anyway I did a lot of exercise today - yoga for an hour and then the bike for an hour. What is my secret you may ask? Harry Potter! Yes, I am reading Harry Potter book six and I just plopped myself on the bike and kept reading and reading! I also made that taco soup (aka veggie chili) and it's so good and so low in points/calories that you can really eat so much of it! Yum!

I can't believe margaritas are so many calories! Why? Aren't they just supposed to be tequila and lime and ice? Anyway I have just been drinking wine these days which seems to be very reasonable calorie wise... at least compared to margaritas! Also some good options are rum and diet coke (2 WW points/ 80 calories) or really any hard liquor with diet soda or club soda. And BTW be careful of tonic water - it has as many calories as regular soda!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
