Getting Married in Cabo San Lucas...Riu Palace?

Hey there everyone. My fiance and I are planning to get married on June 12, 2008 in Cab San Lucas. We have explored all options from Cabo to Jamaica. Any advise regarding the Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas would be appreciated.

 

If anyone has been there, insight would be awesome. As well as any photographers, bands, etc.

 

We want to set the official date at the Riu Palace as soon as possible but I want to make sure I am making the right choice.

 

I have reviewed alot of the forums and postings and found them to be extremely helpful.

 

Good luck to all you future brides and congrats to all those who are now married.

Hi Kerri! Welcome to the forum!

I was at the Riu Palace in Cabo last September for my first site visit. We loved it! It was between Riu and Dreams for us and we ended up at Dreams just because it is a smaller property and more of the quiet atmosphere we were looking for. However, Riu is fun, fun, fun! And, we would definitely go back. Here are some pics from our site visit...

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
