I started working out right away. It wasn't until I started weight watchers AND worked out consistently that the weight started falling off. DO both religiously and give it a few months to kick in before getting discouraged. It works if you stick with it!

You don't have to use them. You could also just use a couple a day if you're still hungry. It's pretty easy to follow once you get used to it. are you going to meetings, or doing it online?
thanks! im doing it online. the first two days havent been too hard. i used a few of my extra points today cause i got a salad from la salsa - then i got home and looked online at the nutritional value - this salad had 643 calories and 46 grams of fat - 16 points. can you believe that!!! so with what i had left today that put me 5 points over. this really makes me realize all the crap ive been eating!

Oh Yeah! I can believe it, I got a salad from panera yesterday, just a basic salad with chicken and balsamic vinagrette, 15 POINTS!! I couldn't believe it when I got home. So needless to say I had a plain salad and tomato soup for dinner. And I know almost all those points came from the dressing, because there was nothing else in the damn thing, but I must say, it was the absolute BEST balsamic vinagrette, I have EVER had. I think they sell it there too, I might have to pick up a bottle and use sparingly.

it is the dressing. on the la salsa website you can figure the calories etc.. without the salad dressing and that drops it down to about 10 points.

ok im starving today. day 3. probably not unusual. theres a hump to get over. i only have 7 points left for today!

I was starving most of the day because I didn't bring enough stuff with me to work. But I just hopped on the treadmill for about 40 minutes and exercising has a way of making me not so hungry. But I've got to eat something, I think I only ate less than half my points today.

Oh, a good snack that isn't too many points, if you like popcorn, kettle corn by orville redenbacher (sp.?) you can have the whole bag for 3 points!! Thats a lot of popcorn, of course its not the kind with the loads of butter or anything, but it works if you just need something to fill you up a little

I love that Orvil reddenbacher Smart Pop Kettle Corn!

Salads are the worst on WW. It is the dressing. It is better to get the salad to go and use the salad spritzers dressing, then it is okay. If you guys have Baja Fresh out your way, they have a Shrimp salad that is SOOO good and only 3 points! It comes with a yummy FF dressing.

  • 5 months later...

It looks like it's been awhile since this thread was active....I have used ww off and on again for a few years and it works when I'm on it!! :)

For the last month I have been trying to stay under 1200 calories a day and exercise a little. I lost 3 lbsl the 1st week and then only 2 more for the rest of the month!!! Decent but I had hoped for more, probably because I have lost faster on ww before.

I think I will break down and start paying for it again. I don't have time for meetings since I have work and school but I will do the online one...I really liked that the last time I did it.

Who is joining me??

Also, to all you girls who previously posted...did you reach your end result?

I'm so glad you bumped this!!! I was on it, then just decided to eat healthy on my own. Over the last few weeks I could tell I was eating too much so I started again today!!!

My BD pics are in 2 weeks so we'll see what I can do!!!!!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
