The have convinced me to do the EDR :)

I feel better with my choice! Your ceremony and reception seem exactly what I am looking for.
Cant wait for your review and I can ask all my questions after :) TEE HEE

LOVE IT
You have every reason to be happy! Amazing photos and it looked like an AMAZING wedding!

:)

Can you comment on 1) the beach and 2) the night life.

OH
I love that your family went in the pool in the end! LOL
I'd highly recommend EDR. It was perfect!

Beach was nice. People went in the water. I personally prefer the pool and given how many of them there are, it works out well. It's a good beach though and you can swim.

Nightlife. we started every night at the martini bar b/c we adore martinis. Then ended most nights at Guacamaya's. This was super fun, especially if you have your own group of people. My family loves to dance so we had a blast.

Pete was the first in the pool he didn't wear all his clothes like everyone else b/c he didn't want to ruin his suit. Sooo after he jumps in I look over and he naked at our wedding reception! I guess he wanted to take off his wet boxer briefs... I will say I never really expected to see my husband naked AT the reception.

The next morning I called my parents to say thank you and my mother tells me that she has Pete's boxers... She thought it would be strange if we left behind wet boxers on the table at the reception. Good catch Mom. Good catch...
So he took it all off at the reception? Did he take off the boxers & put on something else? Your pictures are great & the pool shots are so funny, but the story is even better. I love it!

he took off the wet boxers to put the dry suit pants back on. Supposedly only a few guests saw him naked. All I can do is hope... wink.gif It's certainly a funny memory!

You should put those boxers in your wedding album :) Good thing your mom saved them.

Ha! Thanks! It's kind of funny how much consideration I put into choosing it. But I didn't want a french manicure and I wanted a pretty and subtle color. Aahhh, the things that take over your mind while planning a wedding... :)

I had to go back though your pictures & see your nail polish. That is a pretty color. It matches your flowers too. Is your makeup bare minerals? The picture of the containers looks like bare minerals. I've heard people say it doesn't photograph well, but I thought your makeup looked perfect. I wore it in a wedding I was a BM in recently & I think it photographed fine. I really need something with SPF because I will burn.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
