Stephanie, I am so sorry you are going through all of this so close to your wedding. If this incident doesn't show your mom that a leopard can't change its spots, I don't know what will.... praying for strength for both of you and sending a big hug your way!

Thanks! He is still at her place but she assures us he will be leaving soon and won't be back. She is lying to us and trying to change her story about yesterday. She is trying to say she wasn't scared and just wanted us to come over to take him to the bus station--sorry but you don't call someone sobbing just to get them to give someone a ride to the bus. I am totally wiped out right now. I had a test this morning and I hope I at least past it.

Oh my goodness, Stephanie, i am so sorry. I got goosebumps reading your update. I thnk you are doing everything you can and should continue as you are. Your mom apparently wants this man to be different, but sometimes she sees the true him. You need to be htere for her when that happens. I hope she realizes before the next 2 weeks!

Stephanie, you absolutely did the right thing by going over there & you continue to show your mother that you truly care about her & her wellbeing. Hopefully, this incident was enough to show her that he isn't really someone she should have in her life if he would scare her to that point.

I hope it works out & just know that you're in my thoughts!grouphug.gif

Oh wow...I am SO sorry about all this! I can only imagine how stressed and worried you must be! I really hope your mother is able to see that this is not a healthy situation for her and she stands her ground. I'm so glad you guys were there to check on her...even if she wouldn't let you. You guys are in muy thoughts and I truly hope this guy gets out of her life for good!!!

I imagine you could call the local police station and they would be able to point you in the right direction. But I will be honest I feel very scared for you and your mother. I don't know if calling his parole officer is the right thing to do - what if they don't do anything and he finds out you called him in? Just please be very careful and I think you and your sisters are 100% doing the right thing by being there with and for your mother. Good luck - we will all be thinking about you and praying that everything works out alright!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
