Veils....Did you/will you wear one? Have pic?

Recommended Posts

I have never been one into veils, i've seen very few that don't just look like a cut piece of tool floating around your head. I would suggest investing in a GREAT one that is almost like silk and doesn't have too much texture, the ones with lace around the edges are pretty too if that matches the dress..and always waist long or longer.

BUT I always suggest the Birdcage! :)

Why do you suggest waist long or longer? Do they look better in pics? Just curious.

There is a thread out there with my veil ... but here it is again ... this one is the model pic ... (but it's only the single tier, not the extra cathedral length)

And here it is against my dress (champagne color to match the dress detail).

Oh the Veil. Ugh. I never wanted to wear one. ever. But my FI really wants me to. And I must say that after trying it on with my dress I love it!!

So, it's going to be my something borrowed! I plan on taking it off right after the wedding so I didn't want to pay $175 for it.

It matches my dress perfect and I'll still have a hair flower in too. Kind of like Ann's.

You know, my dad took pictures and I decided I did want to share my dress pictures (previously I had refused)... but he FORGOT to e-mail them to me! Ugh. So now you'll have to wait until tomorrow :)

Tammy your veil is so beautiful, and perfect with your dress.

I wore a veil, tiarra and a flower. I loved my veil, I tucked it under my hair at the back and it made me feel very bridal. I originally was niot going to wear one but I fell in love with this one and had to have it.

Sweet. Can't wait to see it. My dress is intricate too, but I don't want it to take away from my dress. I should have thought about making my own! doh.gif
Maybe I still can since I technically don't like the one I currently have.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
