Even if its not moving out on its own, the laser procedure to break up the stone is really simple and painless. I am really surprised your doctors haven't moved forward with a solution by now. Any time I have had one, if it doesn't pas within a few days -- literally -- they will seriously consider breaking it up with the laser.

Are your drinking more water than you ever cared to?

P.S. - I had a dream that it came out and it was the size of a prune! LOL
No, passing it won't hurt at all. All you will feel is RELIEF b/c the pain and discomfort is INSTANTLY gone.

Now, when guys have them, passing it is the worst pain for them (as you can imagine) ... but for us ladies, you won't feel a thing when it passes.cheer2.gif

Ugh, ok one more thing to add to the list. My doctor recommended me to a place to have the CT scan done and she said it would be <$100 there. Well, I just called this place to check and they said it would be anywhere from $235-345 and that they would need to do TWO - abdomen and pelvic. That would be a minimum of almost $500. I told them the price my doc had quoted me and they said they've never done anything for less than $100.

I called the doc's office & she's not in today or tomorrow but I had them leave a message with her nurse to call me back and let me know if they just want one or the other (abdominal or pelvic) or both...

cry.gif Totally stressed out right now.

Ugh Jaime. You poor thing. I have been there! I had to have my appendix removed, but prior to that it was so much pain. I didn't go to the doctor for 2 days and when I went, it was nearly ruptured. Now I have a nasty scar because I was too stubborn to go (and fearful of what it would cost me.) Your health is so much more important than the money. Maybe cut out OOT bags or something because you need to get healthy!

Good luck girl! Keep us updated. You're in my thoughts!

First off, I finally have a bit of good news to share - my Dad's friend & business partner OWNS an imaging/diagnostic center. It's been up and down so we weren't sure if he still owned it but he does and he got me in today! For FREE!!! Hallelujah! They couldn't really tell me what they saw but at least I have it to take to my doc on monday so she can have a better clue of what's goin' on. It's definitely still in there - :/.

I can't wait to get back to normal. I hate that I'm probably going to have to stay home from work tomorrow night too. Just got off the phone with my boss and she said at least tentatively she's going to have me take the night off. I guess I didn't realize how much I've been getting into my job lately - that's a good thing, just funny that I'm bummed about having to take a night off cheesy.gif

Yikes - I had my appendix out too when I was about 10. Now that was miserable! Yuck! angry.gif

The thing is, I don't even have a wedding budget yet to cut in to. I get trust fund money on my 25th birthday (this June) but until then I'm pretty much on my own for things like this without insurance. I'm a full time student so I only work part time. I get paid well but no benefits. I cannot WAIT to get a job with BENEFITS!!!! Luckily my Grandma stepped in and offered to pay for me to see the Urologist. YAY for Grandma!!!! love.gif

Thanks for all of your sweet thoughts. I'm so thankful you girls are here for me to b*tch and moan to throughout all of this. wink.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
