a few of the gals are doing their own slideshow...karla and karlav...it is fairly easy and fun to do.

Honestly, the photography prceing is all over the place from pretty low to really expensive. It really depends on who you go with. The two photographers listed in this thread a very reasonably priced. I'm going with Elizabeth Madina (hopefully) who is on the low side of very expensive, if that makes sense.

I'm still considering Elizabeth Medina as well, I understand exactly what you meant Jackie about the low side of expensive, she's pretty much my limit, and that may be stretching it. She does have my date available and I really need to make a decision soon before everyone is booked!

Make sure you book as soon as you can! Ann (akh) was hesitant on booking and then when she did Elizabeth was allready booked. Ofcourse she ended up with either Sol or Leigh as her photographer which they are both brilliant so its not like she lost out at the end, but price wise I believe they are a bit more expensive.

YES YES YES! I couldn't make up my mind and ended up losing Elizabeth Medina. In the end I am happy with how things worked out, I found another photographer - Leigh Miller - who is amazing, but still, I may not have been so lucky! If you do know who you want to go with, I'd book them as soon as you can. Elizabeth Medina would be a great choice.

Thanks Ann & Jackie, I know I need to get my butt in gear, I should just book her and get one thing off my list. I haven't had any luck finding anyone else that I really really like and can afford and Elizabeth is very good. I'll have to talk to Steve tonight and TELL him this is who we're going with, haha!

That's what I finally did, kind of. I made a list of a handful of photographers that were available for our date, then sat down with Paul and we ranked them together. We first did this w/o looking at price or packages - that way we knew we were only looking at what we liked w/o price affecting our opinion. After they were ranked, then we looked at prices and packages for our top 3 or 5 and made a decision. Once Paul saw the differences between some of the photographers, he definitely decided it was worth it to pay a little more.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
