Oh, I LOVE that idea!!!! We can all write about our experiences with the starfish. How fun!!!!

My friends and I did a similar thing with a lipstick (yes, I know it's not very sanitary.) But we did it for a summer (like the traveling pants) and it was so much fun.

ladies, please, no fighting fencing.gif...carly, if you don't mind, i'll borrow yours... that way, jenn, you don't have to rush to unpack, etc. i'm leaving 2/12 and will be back on 2/23, so plenty of time before may, or i can ship to jen - you just let me know.

if you DO wind up getting a journal, odds are, i won't really write much...so don't be offended, i'm just way too sarcastic and obnoxious to be sentimental wink.gif

thank you both for allllllllllllllll of your help, i really appreciate it!

btw jen - you are OBSESSED!!!

Sorry to be a downer about it. If you have any further questions please PM a mod.
That's so sad! Some people just suck... Does anyone know where the journal that was traveling with it has gone to? I remember a few of the girls talking about writing in it and passing it on last summer...

Lauren - I agree, I wouldn't write in the journal, except maybe my name, date and location of wedding. I don't really get into that, but I wasn't sure if it should go with the pin for anyone else that it may be passed along to... I think if I find one, i will send it as well, but I won't strss about it. The lady said she was mailing my starfish out on Monday, so hopefully I can get it by next week and pass it along.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
