did you decide where you were going to have your reception yet?

If you're doing the wedding at 11 you will probably want to do it on the terrace as there is a cover, so you will have shade. It's hot there at 11, I got married at 4 and I was sweating!

One good thing is that the gazebo side of the resort is windy, so you will have a nice breeze, but its still really warm.

Do you know if the terrace can accommodate 50-60 people? I can't tell how big it is from the photos.

Tiffaney, we are getting married there on November 20, 2008, we'll still be there on your day! How cool. We'll have to compare notes on planning and negotiating with the resort. Congratulations!!!

Congratulations! We're getting married at Dreams on 20 August 2008 and we're having the ceremony at 5 p.m. Has anyone else been married in Mexico in August? Slightly worried about hurricane seasons!

I'm slightly worried as I'm under the impression that we won't be in contact with Claudia until we arrive on the 11 August, which is stressing me out slight. I want to know exactly what will be happening before I get there and how much extras I will have to pay for, such as chair covers, gazebo decorating, meals for guests, blood tests, toasts etc. As you can see I've lots of questions relief.gif

If anyone has an email address for Claudia I would be very grateful!

Thanks

Amanda

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
