Do you happen to know how much extra per person?

Thanks!
I don't know exactly, I think the prices have changed since my wedding.

I think it was $19 pp +service fee+gratuity for cocktail hour
I think it was $39 pp +service fee+gratuity for dinner

that was last year, I think I heard 2008 prices were higher

Our contract for our Nov 2008 has the same for the cocktail hour ($19per person plus 15% service plus 10% tax) but it says $38 per person plus 15% service plus10% tax

I just re-checked my contract that is dated Nov 22, 2007 and is for our Nov 8 2008 wedding. We have the ultimate wedding package (no clue if that matters) and it says the following:

For additional people for cocktail hour: $19usd+15%service+10%tax

For additional people for reception: $38usd+15%service+10%tax

Hope that helps a bit

Hi Jilly,

Thank you for the reply on the sit down meal, I just wondered how the bloot tests went ? Did all the legalities run smoothly? These are the only things that seem to be playing on my mind at the momentsmile41.gif Another thing that is playing on Simon's (my fiance) mind is the fact that we're gonna be with family and friends for a long time, did you have any problems feeling like you had to do things that others wanted ?

we did our legal ceremony at home because we didn't want to deal with the blood tests, papework and all of the additional charges.

Everyone in our group kind of did their own stuff, but it was nice that the resort was small enough that we constantly ran into people and it was easy to find people, we loved it, I only wish everyone could have stayed longer!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
