My bro might not come

Recommended Posts

Thanks everyone. I'm glad that I'm not being totally ridiculous. Sometimes I take things to heart a lil too much. I'm really hoping that at least my brother can go for a few days but I would like all of them to go. Derek's sister just had a baby and his cousin is having a baby in a couple of months, both of them are coming. Which if my bro doesn't come, it might even bother me more knowing others came.

I really don't know about my brother though. She keeps giving him excuses like babies can't fly, which I know isn't true. Now maybe she doesn't want the baby to fly, that's different. I think she may have a little problem that they aren't getting married. The first words out of her mouth when my bro told her I got engaged was "where's my ring?" and she wasn't kidding. But I also know what it feels like when everyone around you is getting engaged and you aren't. So I don't blame her for being like that, I just don't want her to keep my brother from going because she feels like that.

I really shouldn't say that because I don't know her true motives. But it's how i feel right now. I'm just going to hope that when the baby comes, things change a little. And they all decide to come.

Now i'm just rambling sorry!

Okay here's an update on the situation. Everything changed over the weekend.

I talked to my bro last Thursday about going to the wedding. And by Saturday he had decided that him, his girlfriend, and the baby were all going to go to the wedding. They are just going to go for three nights because the week would be too hard for them. But i'm just happy they are going.

And on Sunday night, they got engaged!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
