I'm not sure how it works unfortunately. I was told this by my group sales rep from Air Jamaica. She told me that they automatically do it for brides and grooms. Maybe I'll call her and get the skinny on this.
okay, i'm feeling a bit weird about my TA. At first she quoted me almost 1k more to fly first class on Air Jamaica for me and my FI. Just yesterday, after reading this thread, she told me that Air Jamaica only upgrades brides and grooms if they have 22 seats filled (which we do), but it has to be on the same flight, time, day, etc...huh.gif

Is this true?

We have booked over 22 seats with Air Jamaica through their sales department. Does it have to be on the same flight?

I'm not sure, but I have about 46 seats reserved. I have 10 leaving from Atlanta, 30 leaving from Baltimore, and 6 leaving from Baltimore on a different day and FI and I are getting the complimentary 1st class upgrade.

Irie, the 30 that you have leaving from Baltimore, are they all of for the same flight time? are they on the exact same flight together?

Hey Mo, So happy you are enjoying things so far. Chandlyns office is right in the lobby, I walked in and out of her office a few times without an appointment. BUT I did have an appointment for our first meeting that I made before we left, I reccomend that. But if you just go to the front desk they will show you what door to go through to her office. She was always in there when I popped in and out a few times. Just walk right in, they wont hear you if you just knock on the door because her office is upstairs and the doorway is towards the bottom of the steps.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
