Question for all of you dreams brides

Recommended Posts

Awww - thanks! If you want to know the truth, FI was looking over my shoulder one day when I was on the forum and said "all the other girls have pictures of themselves and their fiance" - so I had to change mine back! Isn't that cute! We have absolutely no pictures of us together - we both shy away from cameras, and never carry them!

I debated over doing the 7 night stay just to get the free package or staying 5 nights and just paying for the package, because it works out to about the same cost and I want us to be able to go somewhere else for our honeymoon and theres no way I'm going to be able to take more than two weeks off, so I had to keep that in mind. So I'm staying in cancun for 5 nights, and then we'll be off to whereever, haven't decided that yet. I am trying to keep things simple, hmmm, I don't know!

I'm getting married at Dreams in Cabo and I don't think I went with a package because I did all my arrangements with tammy. I think but I'm not sure( hmm I probably should know this... Tammy can you PM me and let me know.) I had no idea which one to pick though either when I was looking good luck!
unless you tell the resort, i want x-package, with dreams you can customize it...because most of the time, there will be more than the 10-20 guests they include in the package and you will want to find some of your own vendors, etc...so for you antalie, you have the free package that you are customizing.

Jill~

I opted for the basic and truthfully, that doesn't really apply. Our guest count never fit the realm of any of the packages offered. The great thing is that Dreams is very flexible and will work with you. For example, the wedding cake that is included will be a birthday cake that we will use the day after. We aren't utilizing the gazebo and so forth.

I can only suggest that you don't allow the packages to confuse you. Pick what works best and if none of them do , do it on your own.

it really is up to you...i would look at the package and see what they offer...like what type of flowers...? i was not happy with the flower choices in the package so i went and paid for my own flowers BUT you may want to look at the pacakge and see if it is cheaper for you to do it together or piece meal

I wasn't originally going to do the dinner either, just a cocktail hour and then go to dinner, but when I figured out the price of the cocktail hour, it was going to be almost just as much as the package that included dinner, so I figured why not just do that. I don't know, I'm so awful with making decisions!
i know i am so hard at making decisions!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
