Will Fiance see your dress before the wedding?

Recommended Posts

Nope -- it's hanging in the closet with my TTD, both in white garmet bags. He won't peek, but he has heard my FSIL and FMIL talk about it after I showed it to them, saying how it reminds them of FSIL's dress -- so maybe he has an idea. I hope not! I want those pics we have taken rigt before the ceremony to capture his true reaction! A

And I'll keep it in my folks or BM room beforehand. Don't care if he sees the TTD though.

That's funny Kristen! We just picked out Shawn's suit on Saturday and I almost started crying! It was just so perfect... so now he wishes I wouldn't have seen it too :)

That's too funny - I told FI that my dress was black :)

FI isn't going to see the dress until right before the ceremony when we meet for pictures and the Ketubah signing (pre-ceremony Jewish contract)

Galit - where are you getting your Ketuba and glass from?

I have absolutely NO clue smile35.gif FI and I want to hang the Ketubah in our home after the wedding, so (in addition to being a meanigful symbol of our commitment, blah blah blah) we are treating it as a piece of art. I have spent some time on ketubah.com, but we can't seem to agree on much so far.

The glass is pretty important too because we want to display it in one of these: The Mango Tree
Unless I find some sort of awesome multicolored glass, I will probably just go with one of these in either blue or clear: The Mango Tree

I should probably mention that Mango Tree is a store in my home town... it's FMIL's absolute favorite place to buy people gifts

nice store! we have been talking to a couple of artists about having our wedding certificate custom made since we are doing a combination of a Ketuba and a Quaker Wedding Certificate. we are going to treat ours as art as well and don't want it to be the standard print stuff

as for the glass - i really like those.

i was thinking of a glass / mezuza (sp?) combo

The Mango Tree#

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
