There is a chance that I'm going to try to do my wedding in early May (I was planning on a year from now, but I may move it up) and will need guests to book the hotel asap so that I can block more rooms if necessary before they all book up, and thus I will need to do a very quick STD. How do I do something quick and still be effective yet elegant/fun? Do I do a paper STD and include info about a webpage & TA? Has anyone done anything last minute like this?

I know the stores have so many more to choose from :)
good call - i know that Target even carries some stuff like this. i bet any craft store would too.

I did my boarding pass save the dates VERY quickly, but nobody knows that. I designed them one evening, had them printed the next, and then cut them out, folded them, and mailed them. I was done within a week.

Thanks guys! My sis told me she did hers on word, but nice paper, printed them out, and that was that - which reminded me that I did the same for her bridal shower invites (although I made them all pretty and fancy) - I guess I should look at some designs over the wknd and figure it out! Turns out I'm going down for site visit at end of Nov, so as long as I have the basic format saved, I hope to print (or order) and send as soon as I get back (and people will have 5 months, which isn't much, but everyone I know would have procrastinated with travel plans anyhow! This is assuming things don't get booked up by then sad.gif.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
