Invitations Printed -- TA Address & Phone # now changed.. aarrgghh!!!

Recommended Posts

So, we're mailing out the invites this week and have everything printed and assembled.

However, I called my TA today and while the number I have still works ... it directs you to dial "1" for the new Eastside location and "2" for the new Westside location. No one will know which location they need in order to reach her.

The travel agency built two brand new facilities, but my TA thought her number would stay the same. Well, turns out it didn't and now all the TA information on our invitations is incorrect (email is the same at least). Not that people can't reach her b/c they still can, but it's simply going to be more of a hassle.

So, should I print up a little insert for each invite (they are the Boarding Pass invites) with her new address/phone number or just let it go (the corrected/new info has been updated on our wedding website) and deal individually with anyone who calls me with a question?

Sorry to hear this happened! Your invites are so cute it's a shame to have to edit them.

I'll have to print them myself. We've GOT to get these in the mail this week. That's what is so frustrating...
The free stuff from VistaPrint rocks but takes forever to be shipped..

I think mine came in a week. maybe it was 10 days. They estimate a long time for slow shipping, but it's so much faster. Does your TA have cards she can send you?

Perfect solution! I hope she has new cards and I'll pick them up tomorrow! We are at home putting stamps on the envelopes right now but we haven't sealed them so that could be the best/easiest/most inexpensive option!

I just want to let you know that I know how you feel! Except the only way I found out was when I mailed my TA my invite! She called and said her phone number was wrong! Great. I wonder how many of my guests call the wrong number!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
