Do you guys think that is tacky or totally unneccessary? Its sooo much cheaper than a shuttle because a cab ride would be 10 bucks TOPS for like 4 people instead of 12 bucks for each person

now that is a good idea....i called my hotel yesterday to inquire about shuttle service to the beach. the guy is looking into for me. if they have it i am definitely do that....

Exactly my problem! We know one couple is staying in Cabo San Lucas, and one is staying near to our hotel, but beyond that ?? I would like to arrange for appropriate transportation to our Rehearsal dinner & home from our reception. Sounds like we'll have to do a last minute thing

i think if people choose to stay at another resort then transportation is on them...just my opnion..

i meant if they were staying at the resort with you.

We provided transportation the day of the wedding, but I think it was considered just something nice to do. I don't think guests *expected* it.

We had people staying at other hotels and all we did was put pickup time and place at the PBR (The hotel we stayed at and recommended everybody to stay at.) We just left it up to the guests staying at other hotels to either get to the wedding by themselves, or come to the PBR to catch the shuttle for transportation.

Our reception is a 10 minute drive from our resort where our ceremony will be.  I debated this question as well, because most of our guests will have rental cars.  I think we are going to bite the bullet and rent a bus.  Our luau reception is bar included (unlimited) and I don't want my guests drinking and driving.  It is really expensive though!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
