I haven't read through everything yet so I don't know if this has been mentioned at all, but what if only one person is given ALL the addresses (the same person who picks the SS's) and then they just distribute the addresses accordingly. Then at max only 2 people will ever have to see it.

 

Really though, I trust all of you so I don't care who sees it...

I am in too!

 

Every year 10 of my girlfriends do SS and then we have a cocktail party to exchange gifts - it is aweome!

 

Last year we used EVITE because they have a 'gift exchange' feature where it randomly distributes name assignments to everyone who replies YES by a certain time - this doesn't solve the address issue but could possibly solve the issue of who gets to pick the names?

My SIL's family does a SS every year and they started using this website to organize it:

I completly agree. I think anytime we have something like this that goes on, there is always some people that either don't send the gift or whatever. I think is someone is going to commit, they NEED to be sure they can send the gift by the deadline.

You can order online gift cards from Amazon and some other sites. The recipient receives their gift via email so a physical address is not needed. FH got one from someone at work recently.

 

Electronic Gift Certificates

 

Arrive within hours

Can be sent to multiple addresses

Can be sent as an e-mail or an e-card

Lizz - this is great - way better than the EVITE thing!!! i am going to send it to the girls so we can start planning for this year! Thanks - PS - when do you start the new job?hijacked.gif

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
