Welcome, Alison. This is an amazing site. I really think it's the main reason I haven't gone completely insane yet! There are so many Cabo brides here ... I am getting married in Puerto Vallarta, but have still found a ton of great information. Have you picked your location yet? You have plenty of time to plan - I am sure your wedding will be amazing!

 

Also good to see another Chicago gal on here!

We have narrowed down the choices to Cabo Sur, Hilton, Sheraton, and PB Sunset (still a lot I know). We will have between 60-75 guests. I haven't started seriously looking for a dress. We are planning for May 3rd, 2008, so when should I begin the dress hunt?Click the image to open in full size.

It seems that most designers suggest that you order the dress about 6 mos out - so you have plenty of time. I would suggest taking your time - there are plenty of brides that bought something right away - and now they want something different! Since you have the time - you don't need to feel any pressure to buy soon!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
