I originally wanted something simple and flowy to go with destination theme, maybe even a tea length. But then I fell in love with this more traditional Maggie dress. After I keep going back to the pic and compared everything else to it, I knew I should've just spend more money and go w/ my heart. lol

I'm going with one of the Ebay suppliers like a few others are. Designer dresses without the bridal shop markup. Its fantastic.

My dress ordinarily is $700, but I'm getting it for $409. We have kids and I'm not trying to go bankrupt doing this whole shebang. I'd rather minimize expenses whenever possible and spend the real cash on our honeymoon. But then, I'm one of those brokeass brides. smile120.gif

I guess I need to update since I returned the ebay dress. My official dress that I am absolutely happy with ended up being $2,300. If I had never found it, I would never have spent that much. I still think it's too much, but once you found the one that loves phenominally better then the others, it's hard to deny it. So I would advise all brides to check price tags before trying on a dress so you don't fall in love with a dress out of your price range. Luckily my mom is paying for $1,000, so I only (did I say onlyhuh.gif) have to pay $1,300.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
