I ordered 70 pairs of flip flops last week from Old Navy for our OOT bags. I ordered different sizes and colors for the ladies and the gents and they were on sale for $2.50/pair. Instead of putting them in their OOT bags when they arrive at the resort, I am going to have them in buckets at our reception. I figure that way, they will serve as a decoration since they are so colorful and also as a gift since we'll have our guests put them on during the reception. Hopefully, that will get everyone out on the dance floor!

In other flip flop news... I was at Target this week and all of their flip flops are on clearance. I got all of my BMs the pink ones that are decorated with sequins (or something like that) to match their dresses. They also have white ones with rhinestones...so cute for your wedding week!

I also got flip flops for all the ladies from Old Navy, in 2 shades of pink and the chocolate brown (our wedding colours). But, I think I am going to put them in the OOT bags. I already have so many things that I want my WC to do that are extra, that I don't want her to forget any of these things by adding more to the list.

Anny made a logo for her flip flops, its on this forum somewhere. Anny, where are they?

I'm doing the same thing too. My WC told me another great way to use them. We're going to put buckets of rose water at the edge of the sand near the cement. So after the ceremony, everyone can wash off the sand from their feet and grab a fresh, clean pair of flip flops.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
