Thanks everyone!!! I'm going to post more of the posed shots on my Facebook sometime this week. I'll let you all know when I do that :) Tammara and Grant took SO MANY good ones!!! Can't wait for you all to see!

Veronica, thanks for emailing me the pics and info on Mariachi, you have been so helpful! Still haven't decided but seriously considering the Mexican Trio for our ceremony...

 

One more question for you and some other brides to be may also be able to help... I have booked an MP photographer but after seeing your pics I am so impressed!! I would also love TTD pics too and don't think MP do those...(?) Can you tell me how much it cost to get Tammara & Grant please? I know people have mentioned you have to pay for them to stay at the MP etc so was wonderng how much more it would cost than the MP photo packages?

My wedding is 2 days after urs and My photographer is excellent mayb we can split his cost or something and u can use him. PM me if ur interested and I will call him...

Pictures are amazing!!! Congrat's!!. I have a question too...did you have to pay for an over night stay for your photographer? My TA told me I can just put my photographer on my guest list and pay for a day pass. Anyone else doing this?

Scorpio30, In speaking with Tamarra she stated that they require (including the cost of photos) that they stay the night before and the night of your wedding). This was an email that came directly from Tamarra herself. I would highly suggest that you contact her directly. There was something wrong with their server so it may take a couple of days to contact you (this was last week so I'm not to sure if they were able to resolve the problem that they were having).

I think that technically you are supposed to pay for a room for them so they are considered a guest taking pictures and are not an outside vendor. I know some brides have gotten away with just doing day passes, however, it is risky. If Moon Palace starts to enforce the no outside vendor policy, you will then have to pay for a room the day of the event and prices are much higher.

I am so nervous! I am leaving on Monday, we decided to have a private event for the rehearsal dinner and we chose a plated menu (since the wedding is outside it will be buffet) and we were assigned the Laud Ballroom (anyone know anything about this, where it is? etc? it is not in any of the files they sent me)

 

Anyway if you want more than one choice for the plated menu you have to tell them exactly how many of each (29 fish, 32 steak), or else everyone has to have the same thing! We had chosen a steak and fish, but now I am thinking of changing to everyone getting chicken just to make it easier. My FI wants to call everyone and ask what they want! >:o what do you think?

 

Also my FI wants me to write to our WC and ask to be put in the Grand section, and our entire group to be put there. I was kinda hoping to get the concierge rooms in the Nizuc section, and the Nizuc seems closer to everything, so I have held off on writing the email. Is the Grand section that much farther?

 

I had to pay for 2 nights for Tammara also, but she takes money off the price of your package so it is well worth it. I was going to use the MP photographer and get the most expensive package, and then hire Claudia Rodriguez for a TTD, but then I found them. It is cheaper to get Tammara and Grant. They do the welcome/rehearsal dinner, the WHOLE wedding day (including getting ready) and then a TTD. PLUS they seem AWESOME! Did you see Veronica's and Candice's pics? I hope mine are that nice!

 

AGHHH I am leaving in less than a week! MAJOR PANIC setting in!!!!

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
