If you all want to borrow it from me let me know and we can pass it around between us? just need to know who what where and when so i can get it ordered ASAP if anyone is up for it? :-)

Or if anyone has any other ideas lets us all know and we'll go with the most liked??

Thats a fab idea Nic! Funnily enough... I already have one which I purchased! I totally dont mind sharing that with everyone so they have a something borrowed! As long as I get it back (I bought it with a special year on it 1930 the year my Nan was born)

What do the rest of you girls think? I will still have to find something else to borrow for mine tho boo lol x

Hey ladies I like the borrowing of the sixpence idea - but I have my borrowed item - my mums garter from when she married my dad :-)

Lovely idea Nicy - if my mum cant find her garter I will be in the sixpence club. You can get them on ebay really cheap x

Kerry might be worth getting intouch with the website to see if they can give you an estimate of weight. Or pop in to a local shop, we have one called "Celebrations" a card/gift shop which im sure do the wine stoppers with novelty things on, maybe worth popping in a shop similar to get a feel?

The weight thing is a worry for me too and to be honest the only thing i can do is just prepare to pay at the airport... If it wasnt our wedding then there is no way i would go overweight but i figure this is a once in a lifetime occassion so if i have to pay for extra then i do!!! Its the only way to keep myself from worrying!!! Obviously i want to keep within limit and if i do then bonus :-) x

I dont think we do have a list of dateshuh.gif?

With regards to weight I have to say going to Mexico was the strictest I have ever encountered. They werent too bad on the way out BUT on the way back they are very very strict, so hopefully the stuff you are taking will be for the wedding and you can leave most the stuff there. We had to stuff things into our pockets on the way back! Your reps will tell you this when you are out there - they also wont accept any cards it would have to be paid in cash along with the departure tax. xx

Glad you said this Josie about Mexico being strict, Never been to Mexico so this is such useful info, Thank you, and more so as i would have just expected them to take card payments!!! Very very useful :-) Thanks again x

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
