A Little Bling Wedding Invitation by LesliesCardart on Etsy[]=tags&includes[]=title
What beautiful looking invitations. When is comes to wording...sometimes simple is better. Think If you want your parents names included or not, and then go from there.

On (date)

At the Azul Sensatori, Mayan Riviera Mexico

Then include all the extra information, ie TA, prices, etc. on an extra sheet/card.

Don't stress yourself out to much! Most people will just be thrilled to see your wedding invitation, and as long as it as all the info, you're good to go!

I've seen it in every state I've lived in: Colorado, Ohio, Texas. So I feel pretty confident it's widely available. It'd most likely be on the bottom shelf in the spice aisle. Since it's a big box and one of a kind, they keep it lower. It's just so good!

I second this, Meredith. Simple is good! Truly, the only people who will notice the wording on your invites is you and FI. Most people just admire the overall look of the invite as a whole and don't pay attention to the wording. We spent sooo much time trying out different wording when we probably should have been doing something else!

Speaking of your invites, love them!!! They're very classy and bright. Did you go with the colors shown on Etsy or customize your own?

Yes, donâ€t mail anything down to Mexico. AS wonâ€t accept packages anyways, itâ€s much safer to bring it all or buy stuff while down there.

I spent the month before my wedding laying everything out, packing and repacking and making a list of what was in which suitcase and who was bringing it down. I spread a few suitcases between some of my bridesmaids. I actually bought super cheap 3-piece hardshell luggage on clearance. Your bags get seriously tossed around so pack well, pack with cushioning etc. Nothing broke in my suitcases, then on the way back I just put the suitcases inside each other and came back with much less.

I cannot wait till I am done planning!

One of the things we made was the fake mustache and lips as props for our guest picture book. It was so much fun!!!

FYI - I have reached the junior status!!! Horay!!!!
Great crafting and congrats on your new status!

Bet ya would've never even paid attention to the change of seasoning if AmyB didn't post that pic, huh?! Lol.
Good plan! Iâ€m sure youâ€ll do great 

Itâ€s totally true! Iâ€m going to pick some up next time I go to the grocery store :)

Linz, you are so on a roll girl! Your invites and pre-mailer were amazing. Good work! I cant wait to see how cute everything else is for your wedding!

Glad everyone who hasn't heard of it is going to try Old Bay. I love it on baked potatoes and chicken too. I've found it in NC, MA, and now Bermuda so I am sure New Orleans has it somewhere! Its the best on shrimp too - I even add it to tuna salad. :-)

I keep checking Claudia's website for my pro pics and still nothing - its been over 7 weeks - I am dying to see my slide show & wanted to show it to everyone this Saturday at the AHR.

Seriously?? That's such a bummer! I would be kinda frustrated to not have my photos to show peeps at the AHR...she must be super busy!

I'll make sure to keep this in mind when planning my AHR, because Claudia is my photographer too!

Maybe you just have soooooo many good pictures it's hard for her to narrow it down :)

Bummer about the pictures. Can you email her and tell her you were really hoping to have them for your AHR? Displaying them could possibly bring her business and therefore motivate her.

Eeeek, 5 days!! And then you're done with planning! I can't wait to see pics of your AHR.

Thanks!!! I am not mailing anything to Mexico then... the towels are really taking a lot of room than we have expected. I can't really divide the luggages between my family members and friends since they are all flying from different locations. We are the only one in Houston! I guess we have to figure out how many bags we can actually check in between two of us.

Chong - You can bring as much as you want, you just pay for it. :) Check the specifics on the airline you're flying. Ours were by number or by weight and we paid to bring them all by weight I think which ended up being cheaper.

I pre-packed all my luggage and weighed it and measured it and calculated out exactly how much it would be etc.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
