I have to confess that I finally came out and asked my best friend, who is also planning a wedding, if she was even thinking of coming to my wedding.....and although all along, since she hasn't expressed wanting to come, I had already thought the answer was no, I'm still super disappointed to find out that her answer is pretty much no. I totally get that she's planning a wedding, but for me to fly home for her wedding will cost almost the same as what it's going to cost for a week at an AI. *sigh*

I hope no one shows up to the house this morning... we have a scheduled HOA improvement day and today's plan is to paint signposts. I have about 5 min before people start to show up and no one yet, please don't come. I'd rather pay to have someone do it!!

lol, trust me it's crossed my mind! Double whammy, my other best friend, told me this morning that she can't commit b/c she's looking to get pregnant, and she's just changed jobs which meant taking a pay cut.....i know its selfish, but i'm seriously disappointed and considering not forking out the money to fly home to the other friends wedding.

I dont blame you, as selfish and childish as it may seem to others, this is something that is very important to you, so ultimately do what you feel to be right and what would make you feel better! I totally would be feeling how you are right now.

My Confession::
I havent done anything wedding related, besides logging on to BDW and buying stuff online for the past 2 weeks. I really need to get a fire lit under my you know what, and start putting everything together.

oh man! double wammy in deed! Well, like everyone says around here, all you need is him! When its just you looking into his eyes, and he into yours, that moment is all that matters!

That little phrase is getting me through! It sparked that little fire that finally made me excited about our wedding again!

Confession: I have been such a fatty this last month before the wedding!
Pizza, soda's, ICE CREAM, carbs Carbs & CARBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
no fair cause Ive been doing GREAT this whole year. Last year I dropped 30lbs. This year a car accident cause me to stop working out and even gain back a few pounds. Then I work to lose em, only to slowly eat them back on.
boo!
Next week, last week in town, I am eating only SUPER HEALTHY and cutting out most carbs! I CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5lbs is all I ask . But if I can push it to ten why not? LOL

Here's my confession for the day... I hate the fact that I'm changing my last name so much, I never wanted to. I seriously considered just not doing it legally just because it's such a PITA until I got a free membership emailed to me on Thursday from MisstoMrs.com that helps you easily legally change your name on all the vital forms you need to, I guess it was my sign :)

I wish people would STOP telling me where they DON'T want to go, and be a bit more helpful and tell me where they WOULD like to go!!!

My dad and his GF have vetoed Cuba and Jamaica and are iffy on the DR

My mother told me Mexico is too expensive and to go to Cuba

Our friends have mentioned that they don't like the beach

FH's mother asked us why Mexico, people keep getting killed there

my GF and her FH say Mexico sucks (never been, as far as I know)

All in all, I get lots of "don't go theres" and no "this place is great", well my dad did mention how amazing the GBP Akumel was, but his DGF likes to go to new resorts each time she goes away!

So yeah, all I want to do is tell these people to stuff a sock in it, but in reality all I'm doing is stressing out more and more!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
