What are/did you put on outside of your OOT bag?

Recommended Posts

Hey ladies and gents I am trying to decide what and how to put something on the outside of my OOT bag.

If I get it printed from company I should stay with one color for cost but if I do an iron on I could use more colors and print at home.

I was also thinking of leaving it off all together so that my guests will reuse the bag even though they might reuse it with the logo/image on the bag.

Please share your experiences! Thanks wink.gif

Cheers

I used my logo (made by BDW member Sarah Sproullie) and our hotel name and wedding date.

Everyone said they loved their bags - they definitely used them around the resort - I don't know if they use them now - I know I use mine and it makes me happy every time I see it!

I like this idea as it just like a souvenir bag that people would buy I think if you put your names all over it people will just put it in the back of the drawer - i think only parents and the bride and groom would appreciate ones with names on x

I ended up working with BDW member "becks" (her company is Allurements by Rebecca) and we created this for our patches, which she printed up and mailed to me, and then I IRONED them on!

Here's what we did:

I figured that since this design only uses our monogram (which some people who don't know any better might just think are the initials for a resort, perhaps?) and it just says, "Ocho Rios, Jamaica", maybe our guests would be more likely to use it again. And the good news is, from what I hear, some are still using them to take things to the beach and the pool this summer!! Mission accomplished! :)

We left ours blank on the assumption that our guests would be more inclined to use them again if they weren't personalised. I guess it really depends on your crowd. I do like the idea of adding a very generic picture/logo with something beachy like starfish, shells, a sunset etc. I would re-use something like that, but not one with bride and groom names and a date on it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
