I'm also getting married at Casa Salamandra but May 17, 2008 and I'm also using Kristin with Dazzling Details. How far along are you in the wedding process and how many guests are you having? we're having around 90 people and are trying to chose hotels and rehearsal/welcome dinner. thinking Westin and haven't gotten too far with rehearsal/welcome dinner. any ideas? thanks!!

The Price is per day! for a vacation rental and I think its a minimum of 5 nights and it is for up to 10 people

I am getting married in april, I guess we are not that far appart in the planning process since you get married in may , as far as what we have booked is the villa, reserved the church at the marina, the catere, the videographer, the photographer and we have not gone into the details yet or talked about the menu, so I guess we really dont have that much yet what do you have done! When did you decide to have your wedding at the salamandra?

we decided on Casa Salamandra in July with Kristin's recommendation. seems like we are in the same planning stages. we are bringing in our own photographer but same with the venue, caterer, etc. Are you doing a rehearsal dinner with all your guests? we are trying to figure that out but with around 90-100 guests, get expensive?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
