Las Caletas Couples ~ POST HERE!!! (**All LC Brides...PLEASE READ 1st post, red text)

When me, my mom and my 2 BMs went over I think we had to be at the marina at 9am and we were at Las Caletas by 10 or 10:30. Yes there is plenty to do because you go over with one of the day tours so there is snorkel stuff you can use and things like that.. I think they even host a hike/tour around Caletas. They also serve you lunch.. we stayed up in the bridal room and talked for hours and stayed in the shade for most of it. They serve you champagne and fruit. it is great. Very relaxing

It's only $50 pp now? Ok that's a steal! Totally go over early. I debated taking everyone for awhile because it was a huge expense, but trust me- WELLLL worth it. #1 peace of mind- at least to me- that everyone was there. #2- I loved spending that private relaxing time with the people closest to me. #3- time is short if you don't go over early, it would be tight getting ready- and by early, you go over with the day excursion so it's like 8am.

Tons to do during that time. Personally, I was sick so I layed on the beach, then in a hammock and in the casita- LOL lots of laying around for me! Then I had a wonderful lunch and got ready almost immediately after. We had 8 people so I didn't want to skimp on time and end up shorting myself. It worked out perfect.

Thanks Rachel for the info.

Another question I have. How much extra was lunch?

I was a little worreid that if we all went over early, people would start to get hungry/thristy and was it expensive to add a lunch or it is something that folks can get themselves (though I dont really want to do that). Kelly is out of town until 7/28 and I just thought I'd see what others did. I thought it would be a cool "day adventure", but I didnt want folks to get bored or bothered by the heat/sun. I would LOVE to take my time, get my hair done, and relax before the big event.

Nessa- Oh and there is plenty of shade so sun isn't an issue! BTW- the food is gooooood so it's a treat to get two meals at LC, not to mention they give you fruit and muffins on the ride over!

Kat- Nate Broshot= Nate Cordova right? I'm confused because it's the same blog name but different name.

huh.gif ya I so don't get the name thing? what is going on with that? I would think that sticking with Cordova would not cause so much confusion. Is BROSHOT his alter ego? I just don't get that whole thing

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
