omg i'm so excited for you Louise!! I cant wait to see your review and pix!

 

my bags came from Islepac today. They are very sweet. I've got pink with pink tissue (they are quite transparent) i'm gonna pick up some brown tissue paper too and try and decorate with a bow or something and tag. When i've done i will post pix... bargain too for 10bags and 2 packs of tissue it was just over £10 so i'm happy :o)

 

 

Another bit of good news today!!! FI friend and wife and son ARE booking up!!! Whoop whoop. FI will be over the moon! They are coming for a week and their son is 1 so it'll be a double celebration!! So happy. FI doesn't know yet.. I think they may tell him on saturday (his birthday).. i am busting to tell him, will have to wire my mouth shut all week ha ha...

awwwwww FABULOUS!! that is soooooooooooooo exciting! i loved it when people were booking! that's so nice for him, he'll be over the moon! Andy doesn't have any of his friends coming unfortunately sad.gif

 

great news about the bags, i think i got mine from there too and they're very cute!

That´s brilliant news! It surprises you sometimes who comes and who doesn´t!

Louise, we´ve been here over 6 years now, my daughter Mia was 3 when we moved, and Jacob was born here, (and if you ever read anything about the horrors of giving birth in Spain..... it´s all true!) The main things i miss are my friends and SHOPPING!

woodsylou : Congrats on dropping a bmi category! Thats a great achievement! And thankyou for the advice on the invites! Think I will go with the original choice! They will be more us! yup I've counted in a few extra to keep! :) Your planning thread is great and I love all your stuff!! your so creative! well done!! And no wonder you cant sit still!!! I cant wait to be that close and excited!! There will be huge sighs of relief when i finally get my butt on the seat of the plane! :) Im so excited for you!

 

JOSIE : It really is shocking how much they spend on weddings! $70,000....I couldn't believe it!! Some of them are amazing though! I love all the little extra touches!

 

Joanna: It's a pitty we are getting married in different resorts!! However we fly out n the 5th of January too!! are you flying into cancun? we might be on the same flight! We're heading to manchester on the 4th and staying the night and taking the night before check in because it takes away so much stress, used that facility the last 2 years in a row and it's well worth it! Who are u flying with? We're booked thru FC and flying with Thomsons. Ther will be 16 of the 24 of our group going on that flight! Ha would be great to say hello! And just another strange coincidence! I mentioned my MOH is out in spain the now, also near alicante! I don't know the exact spelling of the town but sounds like 'Hon don'?! My work is closing down for a refit soon so if I have time and funds think I'm gonna hop on a flight and go visit her for a day or two! Just surprise her and show up! She stays out there 3/4 months at a time then comes back here, her family moved out there a few years back.

 

Nicy : Aw I cant believe we are at 6 months already! we started or countdown at 18 months!! Aw 9 years congrats!! :)

 

Kerry : Thats a fab idea doing a surprise party for FI!! I agree invite everyone!! haha!! you'll fill that hall up no problem!! :) I hope you have a blast and everything will be organized before you know it!! :)

OMG I think we´re on the same flight as you then! 5th jan manchester to cancun with thomsons! We´re flying into manchester on the 4th too and hopefully checking in that night, staying in one of the airport hotels. I think there´s about 15 of us on that flight too!

I know where hondon is, it´s about 30mins from where i live! How very bizarre! Let me know if you come out, we can have a sneaky sangria!

Nope, h2b is english, in fact we both grew up in sheffield, never met until i went back from spain for a wedding where my daughter was bridesmaid, and he was best man!
Cliche or what? I even lived with the girl who´s wedding it was, but never met antony. We only knew each other 3 months before he packed everything in and came to live out here with me. Fate. I knew from the minute i met him that he was the one though.

OOOOOOOOh the horrors of giving birth in Spain..... NO pain relief whatsoever, (not even a piece of wood to bite down on). i´d have at least had a paracetamol before i left the house if i´d have known..... And they expect you to keep quiet while you´re doing it! My midwife told me to shut up. ( I told her to f-off!) Brutal.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
