If anyone has any questions on packages/pricing let me know and i will send them to you...if i can figure out how lol!! the date is coming so fast starting to get really pumped!!
Sheri, how was your wedding? Will you be posting a review?
Can't wait to hear all about it!

We are picking the same. It seems the best bang for your buck as they say. I don't have the menu for the dinners. Do you or is that something we pick when we get there. I think I want my reception on the beach but I guess I should wait until I know how many people are coming.

It's nice to finally see more brides interested in the Ocean Blue & Sand resort. I got married there in November 2009. The resort was perfect for our group. Lots of restaurants and bars, great rooms and a beautiful beach. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. You won't be disappointed!

p.s. SonyaR, I’m from Ottawa too :)

So is Amelie-Mellow, us Ottawa girls have good taste.

Oceansands09-did you have a large wedding? We are looking at approx. 40 people and I think their packages are perfect. I heard you have to pay extra for decorations for the beach/gazebo. Did you choose and do you recall the prices for what you got?

Hurray Ottawa! We should plan a Ottawa-Ocean Sands meet and greet :)

We are also going with the extravaganza for 40 people.
P.S. Sunquest has a promotion on right now where only the bride and groom need to put a deposit and they will hold an additional 28 seats (30 seats total). Our deposit was pennies! So if you have not booked already I suggest you book as soon as you can :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
