Anyways getting pics taken Saturday and deciding what to wear. Found a wedding dress I love. ? found BM dresses. Its a start!
Honestly, DO NOT READ TRIP ADVISOR!! It serves no useful purpose. Everything will be fine. Just think of all the idiots that purposely post bad comments on there just so they can get something out of the hotel. Seriously don't read it. I've been to the hotel, there's nothing to worry about. I think I'm a more accurate resource than some smuck looking for a few extra bucks in his pocket. The end :)

They charge a total of $50 for all setups, which I think is worth it.
Oh that's TOTALLY worth it. I think I will do LED lights - I'll figure it out. But glad to hear that it looked great regardless, and that they'll tape them up etc. at the venue. SWEET

I made the "throwies" for my paper lanterns and they worked great. Pretty easy too. I have some lanterns and lights already made left over I was planning to sell.

We DIY'd them before we left and came up with a pretty brilliant method of making them easy to "activate" let the light shine, so to speak. I definitely wouldn't recommend assembling them down there.
Please let me know if/when you decide to sell them. Were they different colours? (I've forgotten if I say them in your pics). I definitely want to do the the same thing. And I'd also love to hear your method for easy activation. (I'm trying to avoid having too much to stress about once we get down there before the wedding - knowing myself I'll want as little to obsess over as possible).

Hey Ladies,

I'm just wondering if any of you are using the website provided to you by the resort, and if so, when did you get it and what kind of url is it? If anyone is willing to show me thiers I would totally appreciate it. I know there is a thread dedicated to websites, but Im looking for ones specifically for azul sensatori!

Thanks ladies!

If they don't go to one of the other girls that have already asked for them here, then I'll let you know :)

They are white lights, natural colored paper lanterns.

We inserted a clear plastic tab inbetween the batteries so all they had to do was pull it out and boom, light goes on. We attached it to a monofilament clear loop which hung in the center of the lantern. It's the easiest thing in the world.

Thank you, I know it's stupid to read their comments and second guess. Some of things they comment on are so petty

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
