Congratulations kn! I am getting married at ERC on May 7th, 2011. We will be leaving a week before you arrive.

 

My Fiance and I just booked a site visit for August. It's going to be ridiculously hot but we found a deal we couldn't resist and i can't wait to see the property. I'm so excited :-)

ahh who cares if it't hot in August! You'll just have to do more swimming! You will have to let me know what you think when you get back, and take some pictures of ceremony/recption locations!

August will be fine. I wish I was there this August

There seems to be quite a lot at Excellence Playa Mujeres.

I sent an email to Ramon yesterday and got a very quick reply. I replied to say thanks and then he sent me a 'check list'. I didn't even ask for it which is great. He seems to be a really nice guy. I also sent an email to the Spa asing for a price list as the price list they have on their website doesn't include Hair Styling etc. They replied the same day. I think Ramon is very busy for a few days on end at certain times so I really think he does his best to answer questions. I can sense that when our wedding day comes closer he'll start to email me more.....without me emailing him.

 

I can't wait. I wish it was now. I'm really excited to say the least.

 

I can sent this check list and spa prices on to anyone if they'd like.

We'll post a full review of our experience on TripAdvisor soon but I just wanted to assure you that Ramon will do an amazing job. We were just married on 6.19.10 and everything was beyond perfect from him. He really came through for us.

Did you receive any information back frmo Ramon?

Ramon is still checking to see if we can actually have the fire pits on the beach. I'll let you know when he finally gets back to me. He did tell me that there is no seating available on the beach so he recommended a vendor you can rent from(not something i want to spend my $ on). I would be fine with sitting on the beach, my friends would totally be into it anyway; and maybe we'll see if we can pull up beach chairs or something. Of course you have to pay extra if you want to serve any kind of food and drink; somewhere around $15-$17 pp/per hour; i'm trying to negotiate with him

I am going on a site visit next month so I'm really excited to check out the resort and meet Ramon in person. It will be nice to see what goes on there and maybe be able to get a better idea of what we can do for our guests. I'll take some pics to share with everyone when i get back.
