That is correct. You do not have to put down a deposit. You can pay for the whole package when you meet with your wedding coordinator at the resort. There are certain things that have to be paid in cash, for example, the minister, but it also depends on what kind of ceremony you choose (legal vs. symbolic) as to what items need to be in cash. The only items they need to confirm the date is the travel manifest which it appears Victoria has if she has confirmed your day! Congratulations, March will be here before you know it!
Aww thanks so much for answering my question. This site is so helpful. It's so hard getting a response from the WC so you guys set my mind at rest :o)

does anyone know what food options come with the strawberry passion package??

I cant believe how fast time passes when you have a date- how freaky! Also, is there anyone who brought their own table decorations? What did you bring and was it easy to pack? were trying to find something creative but not too expensive...

Thanks!

Hey Ashley! :) Allison brought polished glass in her colors which was really compact, inexpensive, but really filled the tables. It looked really awesome and was unbreakable unlike trying to get vases down there. Here is a pic:

So the Asparagus Soup is AMAZING!! Honestly, one of the best soups I have ever had and was probably the part of the meal that the guests were raving about most.

I had the surf and turf at the wedding I photographed there. It was in February, so you shouldn't have a problem (it was delicious by the way!).

Can any one help me out with a silly question?

We are able to have a nonlegal Interactive Blessing Ceremony?? Am I getting this lingo correct?

If so, do we have to option between a JOP or a minister?

Anyone who had this type of ceremony, do you have any suggestions at to which one to choose. We wrote our own vows.

17 days until the big day:)

Thank you so much!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
