I'm curious to know when Sandra is returning as well. I just read Tammy's clients review and it confirmed a lot of my suspicions about Pilar and her organizational skills. I was suprised to hear how much they liked the resort photographer though. His website looks leaves much to be desired.

So my wedding is Feb 11, 2011 at the Jade Very excited!! I have been working with Pilar and her replys are slow but she seems to know the right anwsers. I just hope when Sandra returns that nothing will change!! I am thrilled to hear someone was able to swap the photographer for the band during the cocktail hour!! I am going to request that swap as well.

I have decided to bring my own photographers, at first i thought it would be crazy expensive to bring someone all the way from Boston to mexico but after talking to them all i have to pay for is their flight and 3day stay at the hotel and they will take photos all 3 days including a trash the dress the day after the wedding. So we will get tons of photos not just the normal 4 to 8 hours you would get with another photographer. I am so happy i inquired!!!!!

I wasn't too disappointed in Tammy's bride's review. I know it was unfortunate for her, but they're simple things we can learn from. Now we know to make sure (before the wedding) that at least a couple guests know where the cocktail hour is. Then we dont have to count on the WC. Also, I dont think I'd forget about my cake. I want to have the traditional cake cutting so I'll make sure it gets served to the guests! Thank goodness for reviews so we know what to expect!! Also, in a few months (10 months for me) I'm sure all the little kinks will be worked out.

The resort we were planning on getting married at has just been sold and we will no longer be able to get married there due to the construction that will be going on. I am soooo disappointed. I found NOW JADE and am considering it for the new location. I would really appreciate if anyone could send me any information/pictures you have received. Thanks!!

Hi All - It is my first time posting but I couldn't resist as you all seem to have great information! We are looking at hotels currently and are targeting May 2011 for the wedding. I think we have it narrowed down to Azul Sensatori and NOW Jade. I have a lot of info on Azul but can not find any photos of weddings at Jade. Does anyone have anything they could share? Also, any feedback on either resort would be welcome. Thanks much!
