Ditto this, that photo is amazing!! I think that would be the experience of a lifetime. However, the seasickness part DOES frighten me a bit. May I ask if it was unreasonably expensive and what company you booked through?

Wow, another date confirmed. That's wonderful! Congrats. I know you've been waiting a while to find this out. I would've probably lost my mind. I only waited like a week and STILL went nuts. That's wonderful news!

Gorgeous as well! And I'm sure you'll look FABULOUS in it. Those models in real life look too thin. They don't fill out those dresses properly and it's all camera magic and photoshopping that makes them look so amazing. I think it will be stunning on you! congrats

OK, ladies. Just catching up with the Congrats etc. I hope work slows down a bit and I'm able to keep up to date more. I personally, have no wedding news to report. haha. Other than yesterday was exactly 11 months to go (sounds so soon when I say it like that)

Nicy have you ordered your's yet? My sister came round on sat and tried her BM dress on with the sandals. looks lovely. My other 2 BMs are coming this sat to try theirs, i'm sure they will look gorgeous! Then i only need to get my flowergirl dress which i'll buy after xmas as she will have grown alot by then...

beaz2be - thank you and yes we had such a long wait but i'm so excited it's finally confirmed and booked. I actually set a reminder (like i need one) in my phone yesterday and it hit me "thats the day i'm getting married" aarrgghh!!

hiya easterbride, B-E-A-OOOOTIFUL dress!

I can´t decide what to do with my hair either, mine´s a big ball of curly frizz, which i know is going to get worse in the humidity, so i thought it´d scrape it back and spray it into submission, but then i´m worried i´ll look like a pin-head! also my other half likes it when it´s down..... ah well i´ll probably change my mind a million times between now and january!

I found these that ship to Canada but it looks like they all cost more than the David's Bridal one but could be because of size:

No, ive not ordered my dress yet, we want to pay the rest of the wedding off 1st, we should have it paid off by end Aug... then thats when the fun strats... buying dress, rings etc... You'll defo be one of the 1st to know when i do :-)

Glad the shoes and sandals look fab... im sure the other 2 will be just as great :-) Arrr, bet you cant wait to get the flower girl dress x Xmas will be here before we know it... (Scary) xox

I have a few ideas for hair like you my hair is a big ball of frizz, im like Monica in friends when they are in Barbados, so im a bit scared... but we'll see!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
