Keep waiting for "Kids Stay Free sales". Dreams does a couple a year. Then you just pay airfare. Kid is defined as 12 and under. 13 and over is considered an adult.

Today we are packing to leave TOMORROW MORNING for our wedding!!!! We packed all the "wedding stuff" (paper goods, decorations, out of town bags, etc) yesterday and it took up way more space than we thought: Click the image to open in full size.

We are checking 2 big bags, have 1 carry on bag and 1 garment bag in which we have my dress and Dave's suit.

Can't wait!!!!!! :)

Congrats ClinicalGirl!! I hope you have a wonderful time!! can't wait to hear all about it!

Mimi73, I wish we could get prices like that!!! Right now it's looking to be almost $2000/person....and we're still trying to decide if a group rate is the best way to go, or just have people grab the cheapest deal they can. if we could get a great price on a group rate it'll help FI family flying from Sask, which always seems to be higher than anywhere else in Canada!

mimi, Wthat is a great price! hat tour company are you traveling with?? Also, when did you get that low quote?

We are with Sunwing/Signature.... we're allowed a one time price reduction and our TA thinks the price will drop around Aug-Oct so I am holding off until then!

We are going with Air Canada vacations. Our TA checked with a few different companies, and this one was the cheapest. Our wedding is in Nov, and we booked part way through Feb. I was pretty happy with the price, Dreams Tulum was my #1 choice but I thought it would be completely out of our price range. I submitted 3 different resorts to get pricing and DT was the cheapest of the 3 (and by far the nicest!). I was ecstatic!

I just returned from my week in paradise! I will post a review soon but I had to let you all know that you need not worry about a thing! The resort is amazing including the service! You get a lot for your money with the wedding packages. The wedding was beautiful and perfect. I can't even complain about one thing! One piece of advice would be to just relax and not fixate on overdoing the details or fretting on what could go wrong. You have all chosen an amazing place to get married! Also we hired an outside photographer, Ivan Luckie, who was great and used the resort photog Rueben since it came with the package for a group photo session on the beach and we were more than impressed with the outcome. Can't wait to share my review coming up!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
