This past Saturday they had 3-4 on the beach alone and I think one in the courtyard. We met SOOOO many people who were getting married it was ridiculous and I don't think any of them were BDWers

I still however cannot believe the minister called you and spoke to you in that way. That is completely unacceptable. Did you tell Zulma that she did that?

Duprke - good to know about the cake :)

Also my cousin and a good friend of the family are going to be playing the Spanish guitar for our ceremony. Does anyone know if the royal will provide the sound system and set up? Or is that extra?
There is a sound system that is provided for anyone with a private reception. I do believe that the sound system was provided for the ceremony, too.

This is where I ordered them from-- 8x108 Satin Sash - TiffanyBlue/Aqua50618(10pcs/pk)

I didn't end up getting them all back, which i was a little disappointed about because I wanted to be able to give them to someone on here, but we were so busy the last few days I guess I forgot. I do have about 5-6 that were not used that I brought home. They come in packs of ten and are VERY easy to transport.
Thanks. I had ordered the sample from them before placing our large order, but they were out. I had actually ordered the organza and the satin, but got neither. Guess I'll look into it now.

Hi all,

I cannot check back here too often or I'll never finish school :)...but when I do I always love catching up! All the recent weddings are beautiful!! Waiting until next may for me seems impossible!

I was going to do a legal wedding back in the states b/c I assumed with the costs to translate everything, that it would be cheaper. Now that I'm reading you don't have to translate, it doesn't seem so bad...

Recent brides who had a legal wedding in Mexico, is the only additional cost to have it legal the blood work? What other expenses did you encounter?

We wired the money over a week ago now and no news from Kool (or the bank). Liliana was responding last Tuesday with lightening speed when I said we were going to the bank. She said she would confirm LAST Thursday she got it... and NOTHING. I've emailed her three times now. If I don't hear by end of day today I am going to call them. So frustrating.

Wow, I just got some exciting news! My wedding photos are going to be put in a 2011 bridal calendar, on stylemepretty.com and a video montage up on my TA's website!!!

My photog deserves all the credit, she did an amazing job. I would love to show you all some pics she took of the trash the dress and the wedding, but I'm having issues uploading them on the site. All of the one's i've posted so far are from the resort photographer. Cecilia Dumas is amazing!! Now she is going to get a chance for her business to grow through all of this, I'm so happy for her!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
