I feel out of the loop on BDW too! Busy with life stuff and wedding. Started a couple projects.....finished luggage tags, which I will post if I ever figure out how. I love them for the woman, not much for the men but FI say not to worry....no one will have the nerve to say anything negative! I definately have to start looking for some shoes.......what I have in mind will be out of season if I don't get off my butt!! Very frustrated waiting to here back from WC....want to book DJ but want to get her OK first. Ugh!

Hi all, busy weekend, no wedding stuff still. More time after tomorrow (bunco nite). bought a used car (second one, daily driver) yesterday. been stressed about spending the money before the wedding but we had budgeted for it so I shouldn't be but its how I am. I hate spending money when I have a perfectly good (absolutely love) car but I'm putting too many miles on it and we both have 2 seater cars/trucks so now we can take another couple or family out with us.

will talk more tomorrow nite.

Hi,

I'm using Crest Classic Whitestrips, which you're supposed to use twice a day for 2 weeks. but I find my teeth get very sensitive if I use them twice a day, so I'm just using 1 a day. It's supposed to work the same, just take a bit longer.

So you only have 8 more pounds to go? That's awesome, you're so close and still have so much time! Cna I ask how much you've lost in total and if you have any tips for the rest of us? My biggest issue is I eat too many calories, I don't know how to eat less without feeling super hungry.

Thanks!

My feet are tore up from running so they need some major help to get into wedding shape!

The only way to lose is decrease your calories. I gained 60lbs when I was pregnant (DOB 10/1/0cool.gif I have 7 lbs left to go. Haven't stuck religiously to the diet everyday since but when I do thats when I comes off. 1400-1600 calories a day, I exercise at least 4 days a week. Eat foods lots of protien and veggies/fruits. Don't omit any one food group ie:carbs, we need them for energy----just one gals opinion. My new guilty pleasure is Turkey Hill icecream chocolate nutty moose tracks....OMG!!!
I'm using the Crest advanced strips.....once a day for 30mins. I have sensitive teeth and they are not bothering me. I could see a difference after 2 days.....swear!

I second the reduced calories and excercise. I am marrying a personal trainer - not sure if that is a good or bad thing yet! Anyways he is always telling his clients that the 3 keys to staying in shape and maintaining a healthy weight are nutrition, cardio, and strength training (weights.) He says that most people are the worst at nutrition because they don't realize some of the things they think are good are actually bad. Also patience is key when trying to lose weight and keep it off. Good Luck with it all!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
