My confession is I have my final dress fitting tonight and I'm having nightmares about being too fat for it. I hope it fits!!!
Thanks Krista! I have been very guarded about our wedding details b/c I knew stuff like this would happen, but got so excited about my dress I couldn't help but share with my best friend. I should have known better. I'm trying my best to let it go...lol.

I'm sure the fitting was fine! I can't believe your wedding is so soon!

Confession:

I cant stand the best man! Im secretly waiting for him to do something to make me mad so I can kick him out the wedding. I know its evil, but he doesnt deserve to come.

Barbiegirl-the best man did the exact samething to us. Only he booked his DW 3 weeks after ours in the Riviera also. He and FH both share the same friends and now they are forced to choose sides bc they all cant afford to go to both weddings.

Omg that's awful! I couldn't imagine it coming down to friends having to choose sides! Your poor FI!

I have to confess that I'm very happy that FI best man and wife aren't coming to the wedding. They decided that us choosing a DW was a personal attack on them b/c they have a baby ( we specifically chose a family friendly resort, and have mentioned how many children and babies will be coming!). Personally I've never been a fan of the wife, so I'm glad she won't be there, as she won't be happy unless the attention is on her!

Wow barbie girl! How selfish of them? Saying that you would choose a DW was a personal attack on them. Really? Like you would choose your wedding based on how you could hurt other people, rather than what you actually want to do. Seriously! Some people are so self-centered and stupid! JEESH! We have lots of friends who have babies, who have either decided to come and not bring their babies cause it's like a second honeymoon for them, or they are not coming, but celebrating with us when we get back. Not everyone in our lives has been that supportive though, FI's dad for one.....brutal mess of a story there!

My confession for today: I'm going to a movie tonight and I really want to have popcorn, but I know I shouldn't! sad.gif

i think i'm a loner at heart. it drives me crazy to have to come home from work (late) to a house full of people (all my in-laws usually) ALL the time. my husband is *constantly* inviting people over our house and THEN telling me, when it's too late to say i'd rather not have company. fryingpan.gif

cougs - I still die everytime I see your siggy!!! love.gif It sucks that T does that to you all the time, but you know he does it because he knows you will probably say no. It would definitely be nice of him to give you a choice sometimes though!

My confession is that I bawled like a baby when I had to leave my puppers at the vet for surgery this evening. I went in just for a follow up for his sore paw & had no idea he would have to stay overnight sad.gif The look he gave me when I passed him over to the vet broke my heart cry.gif No idea what I'm going to do when we have kids!

I'm embarrassed to say that my confession is that although I've been on this forum for 2 years now because I knew I would be getting married to my FI eventually, I just officially got engaged in April.

I was so worried that I wouldn't have any of the excitment of being engaged seeing as we have been together for 11 years and I've "looked around" to see what I want...but I confess......that I am soooooo excited about planning a wedding!!!!!!

Manders, so sorry to hear about Killick. Doesn't your vet have a web cam? When our puppy has to stay at the vet, we always get them to set up the web cam. THen I leave the computer on all night so I can check in on him whenever I'm worried.

My confession is that I don't want to go to my FSIL's 40th birthday party tomorrow. It is in a town 2 hours away. My FSIL and I have the same birthday and I'm mad that I am missing my opportunity to have a party because she is having an event birthday so we have to go there instead.

I hate (but still love) my best friend. She got engaged 2 weeks before I did, and announced that she was going to have a DW (I've always said I wanted a beach wedding, she always said she wanted traditional). She changed her mind eventually....BUT now she's just bought a dress that's SO similar to mine...I kind of just want to rip her head off!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
