I went back and fourth with this too, so far we are at about 30 people with about another 10+ to book. I saw a lady here who had drink umbrellas in sand with white sticky on the stick with the name and table number, we are going to do that for our sitting plan. There is going to be a small mound of sand and these are going to be stuck into it.

I am also spending some time on my table number project, but then I am leaning towards no place cards. The ones I like are a couple bucks each, thought its an easy pass from that perspective.

That sounds beautiful, that is what I was going to do if we did sitting plans, the idea I mentioned above is quite similar in the sand use etc. but the drink umbrellas are cents each rathe than the couple of bucks that I mention, here is what I was going to get if I did do the sanddollar idea, there is also a star shell idea

also check out the second link, they do a starfish that is attached to a rope to put on the inside chairs, I think its a great touch for the ceremony. I am going back and fourth between rose pomanders and these, leaning towards rose pomanders for that added colour.

I just came across this, we are using lemons / oranges and roses, etc. for our centre peices (colours are coral so lots of yellow / orange / pink combos) anyhow here are umbrellas in a lime (if sand doesnt work I am thinking I could do lemons or oranges)

We are doing the Starfish with the Place cards!!! I got my starfish for only 60 cents each! My mom got them down the shore and i also got two brown wooden trays from TJMAX, they are awesome and were only $10! so don't order them from the shore chic, you can find them cheaper. Although, that is were i got my idea from!

 

What is everyone doing for thier OOT bags? I was going to do towels that say, "Dreams 11/13/2010", a personalized mug, a just in case kit and then just a welcome note with the wedding details.

 

How about everyone else?

I think they are so freaking cute!!!! That is such a neat idea! Very unigue, I am doing the starfish, but love the umbrellas.

I think i am going to use limes, but have them in the vase w/ water annd then flowers on top.

I love the sand dollar idea.. I was going to paint my starfish hot pink and add a tag with their names and stick it in the sand box as well... Can someone post a pic of their sandbox to hold them in?? Ive been looking.... dont want to spend so much on this... thanks!

I am also putting in lip balm and going to BJ's for some gum and maybe mints or something like that. I was also thinking sun tan lotion.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
