Kathy, I already had a time and location when I put down the deposit. As for the aisle runner, I think it might be difficult to secure it because it is so windy at the beach.
I'm so excited to read your review Lady Di! I'm waiting until I have a few hours to myself and the computer so I can read it all!! :)

So... we leave first thing tomorrow morning for Mexico! :) BUT.. in the last few days we have both been fighting off the stomach flu.. Fiance' is doing better, but since I caught it later than him... I'm stil recovering. sad.gif Wish us luck.. nothing would be worse than puking all the way there on the plane, because I AM getting on that plane one way or another.

Any last minute suggestions or advice?

Sooooo, trying not to freak out too much but its not working so figured I would tell you guys since you will probably sympathize. (HOPEFULLY it wont have happened to anyone else). Just got my dress back from the seamstress since we leave in 8 days and its totally BUTCHERED. Horribly. I am looking everywhere for someone that can perform a miracle in the next week..... Got it at a sample sale at Kleinfelds in NY and it doesnt even look like the same dress I bought....Boo.

OMG! can the seamstress not tell that she butchered it? she should have to fix it or give you the money to get another dress. I cannot imagine but not to worry I know it seems crazy right now but it will work out.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
