A suggestion for anyone who is waiting to hear who your assinged coordinator is...I just got an email that I am assigned to Ana. I sent a message through the wedding section on the website asking, and received an e-mail within a few hours.

I am not using the traditional vases but the picture frame. You can see it here If you do a search on here for sand ceremonies, you will find threads and suggestions for scripts. I'll see if I can find it.

Thanks you so much for the idea that is really beautiful. Also thanks for looking up the words for the ceremony we will be using one of them for sure

Hey when you booked your wedding did you put down the deposit before or after they told you what location and time your wedding could be at? I spoke with someone over there today and she emailed me some stuff but said she would get back to me about time and location...Im kinda hesitant to send over my deposit before I get the time but Im also worried I will loose the date... Are they pretty good about getting back to you in the beginning or should I continue to pester them? lol

Has anyone been able to bring their own isle runner for a beach wedding? I read that winds average around 7miles an hour during April...is that considered pretty windy? lol I really want a teal or fushia runner for the beach but I have read that some havent had good experiences with keeping it down in the wind... I used Wedding Window. It was super easy and everyone loved our sites. The longer you purchase your site, the cheaper it is. You can see mine by going to www.jadicaandraveyn.com If you decided to go with weddingwindow, you can click at the link all the way at the bottom of our page.

If memory serves me correctly, we put our credit card number down and selected our location on the same form. We got a confirmation a little after that.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
