I can just wash my hair and go! just let it air dry or dry with a blow dryer, and it looks so pretty!!! I am not an expert with these braids but let me know if anyone has any questions. Getting married on Tuesday-wish me luck!!!

WOW, Your day is soon!!! Please take pictures when you get a moment. I would love to see. Thanks for your feedback. I have been bouncing back and forth with invisible braids or weave.

My hair actually reverted within a few days at the roots, I sweat easily and plentifully. Hence worried about doing my natural hair while down there.

Let me know what you find out and thanks!

Ok Nikki so I saw my hair lady this weekend and guess what? I think you are in luck I told her you were getting married in Punta Cana and needed a place to do your hair. I didn't have my computer with me so I didn't remember which resort but she told me to tell you that in that region they usually bring all the good hairstylist on site at the resort and she said the best is Excellence....low and behold I log on today and realize that is where you are getting married. Both she and her daughter have stayed there before and gotten their hair done (she showed me pics of her daughter 15s). I think you'll be in good hands, she wasn't sure about the whole weave idea because she said as it is at the resort they will charge you and arm and a leg but she did say they are good at blow outs. I hope that helps! I know you still have the dilemma of getting the weave. I'm heading to NY to do clip ins but not till June, but I will post pics.

Here are some photos for you. I actually liked how my bridesmaids†hair and makeup turned out better than mine. They were all done by the same person.

Here is mine. I had a partial sew-in (human hair). All of my curls fell out before the ceremony due to the Florida humidity, despite using lots of hairspray. I should have kept rollers in my hair until just before the ceremony.

My bridesmaids… One had her shoulder-length dreads styled in an updo and the other had on a human hair wig that the hair stylist put into a cute style.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
