But for a slow, sappy love song, we were serenaded Il Divo's "The man you love" when we were in the Tequila lobby bar (a few days before the wedding) by the mariachi band, and I cried it was so beautiful. They did the most amazing job, and now I LOVE that song because of that. Maybe they could just sing the chorus or something from it? Their voices are unbelievable... wish I could re-live that.

AHHHH...just looked at my sig....exactly 1 month until our wedding!!! I mean I've known that all day, but it's different when you see it in writing! pinkie.gif

Also, random question for people who just got married....what did you put your table numbers in? I am making mine, but I don't feel like buying/bringing down holders. Do they have those little wire things with the little loop in the top? ..or picture frames...if so what size are they? Thanks!

About the minimum night stay for the photographer, I was under the impression they could stay only one night- not two nights. Has anyone tried to only do one night? If it is two nights, is there a cheaper flat fee for external vendors? (Sorry if I missed all these details earlier in the thread, but I could have sworn people were saying one night...) Thanks ladies!

And how exciting that your wedding is only one month away now!!!! And I totally know what you mean about seeing it, it really hits you when you see it in writing. :) Best of luck with all of your final plans. :)

Hello Barcelo Brides!! I just had an email from Xhail confirming my request for a wedding at the Palace on May 6th 2011. I am so excited! Now that we have a date and resort picked, I think i will be on here every day!!

To start with I do have a question I was hoping you could answer .... does the resort provide any table top decorations or do you have to bring everything yourself? Including vases, candle holders, runners, etc .....

Thanks you so much ladies and I'm sure over the next 11 months I'll get to know you all quite a bit!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
