That seems like a lot for flowers! like wendy, my bouquets are $50 (and mine is included in my package). I am just getting regular tropical flowers. Maybe if you are getting different flowers it might cost more, but $1000 seems like a lot.


hmmmm....that is really annoying....I would be really freaking out as well. Is she doing your wedding photos as well? If she is, I would send her an email and tell her that you are concerned and that it seems like she is not interested in doing your wedding, and ask her if you should book someone else (throw the threat out there and see if it gets her to respond). I don't know what you do about the garmin....

I agree....if she does not respond, or get you pictures in a timely matter, try and get money back.

No you're not... I got quoted for ALL flowers including centerpiece stems $5,000... granted, I wanted orchids for pretty much everything and didn't pick from the Loma's list of what's offered so I turned to real touch and paid $700 for the lot... all bouquets, bouts, corsages, cake flowers, 3 centerpiece stems per table and shipping. BEST decision ever! Everyone was so impressed with the flowers, the girls all have them in vases in their homes now.

Yeah don't be worried, you're unbelievably hot girl!

Total side note... looking through my million wedding photos I was anxious to see DH's reaction to my book! I get to the part and the photos start with him excited, then smiling, then welling up with tears and CRYING! I talked him and was like... "honey that's not the reaction I was expecting... who crys for nudity!?" LOL... " He said it was what it meant and the french on the side of the book cover, he speaks and writes French and it's the biggest turn on ever... and the quotes and whatnot. I just thought it was hilarious I was expecting maybe a blush or a look on his face that said "hey she's hot!" but instead it was totally touching to him, very cute

Wait she blocked you from seeing her status updates?! WTF This IS shady, I'd be straight up with her and send her a little reality check email. Have you already paid her for everything? Is there any leverage you have?

Photographers make me nervous, I emailed back and forth with mine for months before deciding. He's lets me know when he'll be out of town and always gives me timelines of when I'll get pictures and is always on time with it. You should be able to rely and trust your photographer. I wouldn't be mean with her but I'd let her know what you expect from her and if she can't deliver that you'll have to look elsewhere.

Take a deep breath and look at Lomas options. I had originally sent a ton of pictures of lfowers that I wanted and they quoted me outrageous numbers. I decided to go with some flowers that are on Lomas list. (And I have seen flowers that some of the other girls have gotten there and they have been stunning, really beyond my expectations.)

They are charging me $60 for each bridesmaids bouquet and $30 for each of the guys. I am splurgin on my flowers and getting the ones I want. That will be about $300. So all in all around $600.

I thought about silk but I couldnt find anything other thanlily's and orchids. I want more traditional ivory roses and green hydranges so silk is out for me.

Really? Even sharon nagassar designs, Silk bridal bouquets, silk weddings, Custom orders, Latex, Real Touch, Natural Touch & Floramatique Silk Wedding Flowers ?

She has any flower you could possible think of! I still can't believe how real they look and feel.

Thanks! I just emailed and requested a quote...but the auto reposnse says that she's know taking order to be shipped in Nov 2010 and into 2011. Oh no! I need my flowers by the last week of September.

Any other brides use real touch and have a vendor referral?

- Register (hopefully today and yes I realize we are very behind on this)

- Order fiance's wedding band

- Recieve and sign photog contract

- Request rates for a BD shoot (Chris Schmidt?)

- Work-out

- Begin Qt Extreme Cleanse

-Order gold bags for rose petals

- Follow up on quote for real touch flowers and possibly order blume boxes

- Make sure photo booth stand will work

- Find images and begin mock-up of post-cards using for guest book

- Send mom guest list so she can keep track of RSVP cards

-Begin searching for table card holders that will fit the polaroid-type photos from the photo booth

-Receieve suit swatch samples and email groomsmen to order (assuming we like the swatches)

-Start thinking baout hair and make-up

-Start writing ceremony

-Figure out DJ
