That just seems pretty high to me, because when I called the hotel directly it was much cheaper then that. I got a quote for 4 nights a thurs arrival and monday departure it was $1179 per couple for the standard garden view room. I don't know it might be cheaper for my guests to go through the hotel directly.
ohhh love Heather - you'll be so so so happy! Keep in mind that she price matches, so if there's some crazy sale a few months before your trip she'll rebook all your guests (that booked with her) at that lower price...
We gave people the option - we just put a little insert in our save the dates that said "we've chosen to book our travel with..., please call her at.... if you'd like to book through her" I'd say most of the older guests are all using Heather, most of our friends are booking on their own. Although I've had several conversations with Heather about the complaints on trip advisor about checking in and she said that Berman Travel has a really good relationship with Dreams so her clients only experience upgrades and if they try to pull anything with people she's booked, we can call her from Mexico and she'll deal with it. Which made me feel a lot better!

We're September of this year, which is shoulder season and historically a slow season for the resort - so we're paying I believe 2300 for 7 nights. My future brother in law and his girlfriend did 5 nights and is paying 1200 (Oceanview).

Also, for those of you using an outside photographer but have the package that includes the resort photographer, make sure to schedule a separate session during your visit. Here are some photos that they took the day after the wedding.

Yes you can :-) I think the only thing they were commenting on this week was that fake petals couldn't be scattered on the actual beach (as decor or by a flower girl) b/c of the environmental hazard it causes. Other than that you're good to go.

Its a wedding so my feeling is it SHOULD be a good time :-) Our reception is on the pool deck/beach so hopefully we are far enough removed from the guest rooms, facilities etc that noise from our peeps, dj .... won't be an issue.

I have an out there question that one of my guests have asked me. Does anyone know if they have wash clothes aka face clothes provided? We have stayed at a bunch of 5*'s down south and for some reasons they seems to provide every other kind of towels in the rooms but face clothes sometimes LOL

For those already married that used the resort photographer.... did you upgrade from the package? All of the packages say the photographer is there for 1.5 hours.... there is no way that is enough time. Did you add extra hours? Ana told me it would be $250 per hour to add time.... is this what you didhuh.gif THANKS!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
