Do you think the electrical outlets at ASP are standard? I won't need to bring any outlet coverters, right?

Leaving on Thursday, have sooo much to do!

Another question for the past brides: I know that the resort is all inclusive, but how will alcohol be served during a private event? Do the terraces have bars or are there waiters serving the guests?

I have a question for the past brides or anyone that might know.... For day passes, can someone just arrive the morning of the wedding and purchase a day pass to come to the resort? The reason I ask is that one of the people we invited said they are coming but staying off the resort and they are also coming with another couple which we didnt invite to the wedding nor do we even know... Also this is my dad's friend and I heard all of this from my dad (the person we invited didnt RSVP yet but told my dad he is coming). I dont know for sure if that is true or if he will come since he has another couple joining him and his girlfriend. It sound more like he is going on vacation and may stop by... Should I count them or wait until I get a definite answer of YES Also I dont want to reserve 4 day passes and they not show and then I'm out $350!!!!! That money could go to something else vs. people we dont know! Also am I obligated to pay for a day pass for the couple that we DONT KNOW? They werent even invited.

To the past brides: what did you all do for table decor for the reception? From the list tht Dulce sent me, centerpieces and other decor is very expensive. I was thinking of making my own centerpieces, but Im not sure how I will manage traveling with glass etc. Any suggestions or advice? Thanks!

We leave in three weeks... I've been emailing Yazmin with all my questions and haven't heard anything from her. Getting a little upset about it. Don't know what to do or think!? It's not even anything major! Just the little details... I thought when it got closer she would respond in a more timely manner. Currently going on 1 week with not hearing anything. Should I be worried or am I just getting antzy?! Does anyone have more details or pictures of the "new" gazebo on the Spa side? I just saw one picture and it looks beautiful!!! Crossing my fingers we get it! =)

You don't have to decide on the day passes until your meeting. Then they ask you to list names and when they will need the pass. Maybe by then you'll know if they are coming?
Also, they just charge the passes to your room so you pay at check out. I would double check but maybe you could reserve the passes and if they don't show up you won't be charged

I got mine through the resort. For me the cost was worth it not to drag stuff down to Mexico and back esp since I wouldn't want to keep any of the decor afterward.
Sorry can't be of more help in regards to bringing stuff down. My advice though...don't over due it. Let the location be the "centerpiece".



They set up a bar ust for your party and have bartenders/waiters etc. That's why you pay extra for a private event.

ME TOO!!! Ugh I'm SO frustrated with her! My wedding is June 5th, and I thought she'd pick up the pace with responding. So far, I've initiated all contact with her and everything I know is from this forum, and because I had to ASK her for the info. I don't feel like I'm being guided through any kind of process at all, and 3 weeks away from the wedding I have NO idea what I'm supposed to be doing to prepare. I almost want to ask for another coordinator. When is your wedding exactly, FutureMrsRell?

Sorry you are experiencing this too! No tip for her!!! I sent two emails and she finally responded to ONE of them 8 days later, still waiting to hear back on my second email. However, one thing that is making me a little more relaxed, is she did tell me we are the only wedding that day. So, I'm assuming we will get the gazebo and dinner place we want. I just don't want to spend a lot of time with her when we get there. I can only imagine what kind of mood that will put my FI in! I'm still waiting for her to send the ceremony, the info on the spa and excursions. The ceremony is what I'm most concerned about right now. Good Luck! Oh yeah, we get married June 8th! =)
