Hi all--sorry late getting back to this thread. Yes, I knew Las Caletas sounded familiar. It's a beautiful location, I've been there by boat. San Pancho is a small fishing village north of PV, North of Bucerias, and North of Sayulita. Its only got a few hundred people living there. It's very quaint, and everyone knows us there.

November 13 date twins! 13 is a lucky number in latin america, btw.

I didn't know 13 was a lucky number in Latin America!!!

Venue -booked

STDates - sent out last week

Dress- Bought!

Bridesmaids dresses - finalized:) Waiting for the girls to order the one we picked

Groomsmen attire- we're still trying to figure out what to do with this. We are getting married in a chapel for a Catholic Ceremony so it needs to be dressier. They might get grey tuxes or grey suits.

Photog - open still.....hoping we can finalize that this week

Honeymoon - we're trying to figure out what the best option is. It's so easy for us to go to Mexico on vaca so we thoguth it would be a good idea to go somewhere else in teh caribbean such as Turks & Caicos....just gets pricey with all the flights!

I've got my long to do list to keep working on...

Hi ladies! Im getting married November 5 @ Aventura Spa Palace in Riviera Maya Mexico...we sent our save the dates out in January...32 people are booked so far...hoping to have a total of around 50 :) My dress is ordered, as our my bridesmaids..thats really all I have done so far sad.gif I guess the next two important things to have done are hire a photographer (does anybody know how good the one at the resort is?) and send out invitationshuh.gif I was uncertain about this one...how far in advance should I send them out and when should I make the RSVP date? I was thinking not till september, but now after reading your posts I feel like I should do them sooner...also do I send invitations to people, even though Im pretty sure they're not cominghuh.gif what is the etiquette for this?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
