That's funny. I think we are also going with the calvin suite from Men's wearhouse. But we are doing the khaki color. And we are doing the vest under the jacket. I want the guys to look a little more formal but not in tuxes. Also, this way when we are dancing they can take off their jackets and but not just be in shirts.

Chong, we went this weekend and MW is running out of that style. I guess with summer weddings coming up. Also, they probably won't have in the fall so smart to do now. We are going to another MW this weekend. Hopefully it works out.

Also, MW is running a sale right now. Buy 1 suite get 1 for $100. We are ordering them all together and letting the guys split the difference. That's assuming the groomsmen get me their measurements this week

OMG Meghan, what a mess..... seriously, just ignore those people telling you to demand a refund and have a wedding in TO. Its unfortunate, but they just don't get it, but that's why you have us :). I changed your date on the list. If anyone else has changes or needs to be added, please PM me!

We actually rented Gray suits from MW! They were calvin Klien :)
It was a great deal, White shirt, vest, bowtie/tie , pants, socks and shoes and suspenders for $60. They looked great on the guys and went very well with our colors~

Our travel agent has been working on getting everything sorted out for us. We can't use Claudia as our photographer anymore, but they got someone else from her team...still not pleased, but can't do much and at least we like her team.

We still don't know if we can have the same location for our ceremony and reception...when I talked to my TA yesterday her response was...."we are working on it and will let you know monday". Now I'm having to deal with many of my guests calling and asking what is going on and complaining about all of this. People are telling me to demand a full refund and cancel the whole thing! They don't understand that we have planned this wedding for 2 years and we will be out money if we cancel and book somewhere else...some people are even saying to cancel and do a wedding in toronto!! I think I'm gonna have Matt call our TA today and tell them that they need to give us some more info and they need to start contacting our guests to let them know what's going on.
Meghan, I cant believe how thoughtless some people are. I swear weddings bring out the crazies in people lol.
I wish I could help you somehow, what a mess!! People have no idea what it takes planning a dw and how your blood sweat and tears goes into this. So any negitive comments aren't needed or wanted. I would have your bridesmaid(or mom, someone close to you) help with calling your guest and ironing things out to eliminate hearing complaints. On the other end of it, I can see how some guest might be weary about it after all this, but maybe just send out a very positive email to everyone giving them a quick apology for the confusion and changes but be firm in saying, Our dream wedding in Mexico is still on wink.gif and so is the party lol, and that we will contact you asap to fill you in on all the new details..
I hope things get easier for you sister, hang in there- pretty soon your gonna be sip'n some cocktails in the sand in mexicoooo and gonna be a MRS :)

hahaha NO NO, we did engagement pics on Friday in the SUPER HUMID weather! That's why I was saying my hair was a disaster! I did BD on Thursday night

I have about 25 guests confirmed and booked. But I am waiting on 5-10 more people to make the decision... it's hard to press the issue of making the reservation as soon as possible. at some point, you just have to let them do what they want to do.

We are staying 10 days at the resort. We wanted to go to Cozumel for a week of so (we are divers.. and Cozumel is awesome!!!) but decided to explore Cancun, Mayan Ruins and other things around the area.

Did you pick the photographer? I just asked Elizabeth Medina for quote and she said min 6 hrs at $4750. Wow.. that's doubling my budget for the entire wedding... I do really like her pictures though. It's going to be decision to make.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
